Every year Open Road Automotive Group participates in a number of events to help strengthen our community. We at Open Road know how important community and we like to give back as often as possible. We at Open Road Subaru are happy to announce our support for Camp Nejeda Foundation. They are an amazing foundation who has been providing empowering summer camp and other programs for children with type 1 diabetes and their families since 1958.

Type 1 Diabetes affects over 200,000 people in the United States each year and we firmly believe programs like Camp Nejada can truly make a difference in young people's lives. Thank you to our friends at Camp Nejeda for helping kids with Type 1 Diabetes feel like ordinary kids. #Sharethelove

MARS Essex Horse Trials - June 23, 2018:

After a 19-year hiatus, the Essex Horse Trials started as it began, with two exciting days of Eventing competition for Beginner Novice through Preliminary Levels. Open Road was proud to be a sponsor for this great event. Read More about it.

Honda Community Day - June 10th, 2017:

Each year our Honda dealership participates in a week of service. This year they will be hosting a community blood drive and food drive. We encourage anyone in the community to get out there and give what they can.

Essex Horse Trials - June 24th - 25th, 2017:

The Essex Horse trials will be returning for the first time in 19 years. Open Road is proud to sponsor this event to benefit the Greater Newark LifeCamp.

JDRF One Dream Gala - May 20th 2016:

Once a year in partnership with the JDRF, Open Road sponsors the One Dream Gala. This black tie event helps bring together prominent people from philanthropy and business communities to help raise money to find a cure for type one diabetes.

JDRF One Walk - October 22nd, 2016:

Every year Open Road works with the JDRF to help raise money for the diabetes research. We are striving to help find a cure sooner rather then later because we know how many people it affects every year.
