Far Hills
The Far Hills Race Meeting is set for Saturday, October 20th, 2012 at Moorland Farms in Far Hills, New Jersey and the Open Road Auto Group has, once again, been named the official sponsor of this renowned event.
Hailed as New Jersey's biggest social event of the fall season, Race Day attracts upwards of 40,000 spectators for its world-class horse racing and rich purses, with six races offering the highest purses on the National Steeplechase Association circuit.
But the horses aren't the only winners at the Far Hills Race Meeting; one lucky race-goer will take home the keys to a brand new car!
In what has become a Far Hills Race tradition at the Open Road Auto Group, Rod Ryan has once again donated a new car to be raffled off on Race Day in support of the Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center. The Open Road name has become synonymous with the Far Hills Race Meeting adorning the race day landscape with luxury and performance vehicles for over 25 years.
In 2010 Open Road donated a new Mercedes-Benz GLK to the vehicle raffle and in 2011, a new BMW X3. So what does Open Road have in store for 2012? Only a brand new 2013 Audi A5 2.0T Coupe; with horsepower that's fit for a day at the races.

Since the 1950s, the Far Hills Race Meeting has helped raised more than $17 million for Somerset Medical Center through the Somerset Medical Center Foundation, making it one of the most successful fundraisers in the state. The Race Meeting has profoundly impacted the medical center's growth and ability to offer comprehensive, state-of-the-art medical services to New Jersey residents.
